A play on the triumph and losses in performance and life. The Talent Tank podcast will navigate the inner workings of lifestyle, lives, family, teams, careers, programs, and technology in and around the offroad motorsports industry. What breeds success with your Talent Tank on full, failures when its on empty. From the journey to the Starting Line to take that Green Flag, on to exploring trials and tribulations on and off the track in pursuit of victorious achievement and the Checkered Flag.
On this Eighth installment of the ULTRA4 Racings King of the Hammers 2020 The Talent Tank sessions, Executive Produced by Caleb Norman @caleb__norman.
All the way from South Carolina, Chris May @trailtoy83, sits down in the dust bowl of Johnson Valley during Hammersweek and fires up the Way Back Machine. I can hardly name a rock sports competitor that has been at it, and stayed at it as long as Chris. His wherewithal, tenacity, and downright staying power is something to behold. How a small budget racer still takes the green flag at the Hammers, being realistic in goals, fighting burnout, and being the father of a fiercely competitive daughter who is carving out her own name in off-road racing. And not a single Chris "May or May Not" joke was told.
After the Checked Flag:
Chris finished 42nd out of 44 official finishers, and 66 racers who DNF'd.
